Welcome to the Queer in Chemistry Network

The Cambridge Queer in Chemistry Network (QiCN) is a network of LGBTQ+ members of the Chemistry Department and their allies.  Our group is comprised of undergraduate and postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and members of staff. Our goal is to provide opportunities for queer chemists and allies to connect, socialise, and bond with other members of the community. We host several social events each term, coffee mornings in the Cybercafé, and a QICN committee meeting every other Friday. We provide a mentor/mentee scheme in the department which pairs like minded people up to discuss LGBTQ+ issues and opportunities to scientifically mentor/be mentored, we can also provide a small amount of funding towards gender expression.
